\"\"Podcast and Song Student Contest Make it Heard 2026 invites<\/span> musicians, songwriters, singers, music producers, audio engineers, voice actors, radio & podcast producers, <\/strong>\u00a0teachers in the field of Media Education, public and private stakeholders across Europe and beyond<\/strong> to participate in the Contest\u2019s Jury.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are looking for professionals who care about children and youth and who can allocate a few hours of their time to listen and evaluate students’ submissions to the Contest. Professionals from Croatia, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, and Spain are especially encouraged to apply.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this year\u2019s Contest, students are called to work together and harness their creativity by producing a podcast or a song on a theme of their own choosing. Teachers\/ educators can submit the students\u2019 podcasts, from 7 to 10 minutes, and songs up to 4 minutes until January 23rd, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entries will be evaluated by participating schools and by two Jury Committees of professional members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Up to three prizes will be awarded for each of the two submission categories (podcast, song) and each of the four student age groups (kindergarten to high school). Also, one Audience Award for each submission category will be announced through online voting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interested professionals can apply online via the <\/span>Jury application form<\/b><\/a> until December<\/strong><\/span> 20, 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All applicants will be notified, if they have a seat in the Jury for one of the submission categories. Jury members will then have about three weeks to cast their votes through an online system, evaluating about 10 to 20 submissions each.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All submissions, regardless of the results, will be broadcast on the European School Radio program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, students will be able to present their productions during the 10th European School Radio Festival, which will be hosted in Corfu in Greece from 22nd to 25th of April 2026.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfa4 The Award Ceremony for the Song Category<\/strong> will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 18:00<\/strong> at the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Corfu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfa7 The Award Ceremony for the Podcast Category<\/strong> will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10:00<\/strong> at the Ionian Academy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jury members are encouraged to participate in the 4-day Festival event and present one of the awards during the Ceremonies.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Contest is organized by the Scientific Society European School Radio – The First Student Radio, Cyprus Pedagogical Institute – Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, the Educational Radio Television – Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and the
