Tangible heritage includes buildings, monuments, books, works of art, documents and, in general, objects of cultural value.
Intangible heritage includes practices, representations, rituals, knowledge, techniques - as well as the tools, objects, crafts and cultural spaces associated with them, such as: 1. oral traditions (e.g. folk tales, fairy tales) 2. performing arts (e.g. theatre, shadow theatre, traditional dances and music) 3. social practices, rituals and celebrations (e.g. festivals, weddings) 4. knowledge and practices about nature and the universe (e.g. folk medicine, weather forecasting based on natural observation) 5. traditional crafts (e.g. embroidery, pottery, basketry)
Natural heritage includes biodiversity, geodiversity, cultural landscapes (natural features with cultural attributes, landscapes that reflect the relationship of man with the environment, such as parks, sacred forests, vineyards, dry stone landscapes, etc.)
